I’m a long time artist and a newly minted graphic designer, my designs are focused in a softer modernized version of Art Nouveau and muted earth tones

  • With my designs, nature is my muse. I take certain aspects from different parts of the natural world such as how organic forms such as flowers bloom with their own sense of balance and symmetry. Flowers though aren’t the only source of inspiration I take from; I also observe animals and other plants that display that natural sense of balance and proportionality. This influence nature has over my designs creates a sense of wholeness to my designs, whether it’s for my choice of color, line, or form.

  • As an artist, my artwork is very organic and is far from being balanced or having an unblemished form. My work is also inspired by nature similar to my graphic design work, but my ceramic pieces have a more chaotic tone to them. I stray away from perfect and strive to create pieces that seem alive, that give energy. Along with nature, much of my work has a fantasy element to it, giving my pieces a bit of magic to them.

  • My style of drawing is very structural as I like to analyze what I’m looking at before I start creating, so I can understand each function of each part whether it’s an object, animal, plant, or human figure. There is an attention of detail I like to incorporate as I strive to recreate in what I see and take in, but making it my own in the process.
